When Nicole suddenly had an interest in the ants and disappeared, Philip and Jang decided to take revenge on the ants, killing them with fire. Nicole, Jonathan’s son, was at the orphan’s house after his parents disappeared. The ants who have the smell of rock chased them and killed the 327th male ant. They decided to find out who they are and why they are doing it, by forming a secret group. Frightened and confused, he told his story to other ants however no one believed him except for 56th female ant and the 103683th ant. The 327th male ant had a dangerous experience of him being chased by other ants (they smelled like rock) who were supposed to cooperate with him. While the mystery for humans hasn’t been solved, one of the cities of ants Bel-O-Kan had another mystery happening too. He suddenly disappeared, all of the people who tried to find Jonathan in the downstairs also vanished at some point. Jonathan Wells, the main character in the story of human’s world, went downstairs where his uncle, Edmond ordered him not to. There are two societies, not knowing about the existence of each other at the begining of the book. I’ve read the book called ‘Empire of the Ants’ by Bernard Werber.
